The Museum
The Chinese American Museum’s Annual Historymakers Awards Banquet represents the vision of pioneers, dedication of volunteers, and continuous community collaboration over the years since its inception in 1997. Prominently recognized as one of the premiere Chinese American events in Southern California, the Banquet honors the achievements of extraordinary individuals within the fields of art, literature, journalism, medicine, film, science, community, business, government, law and athletics, who have made significant impact or lasting contributions towards the advancement of the Chinese American community and beyond. In addition, the Banquet also serves as the major annual fundraiser for CAM, helping to raise critical funds to cover operational and program costs.
Each year, over 600 guests attend this elegant evening gala, including elected officials, community leaders, museum donors, patrons and supporters. A lively Silent Auction and cocktail hour traditionally opens up the event followed by a Western-style dinner. Become a part of CAM's history and join us at this year's event:

1. Become a Major Sponsor

2. Sponsor the President’s Reception
The prestigious President’s Reception preceding the dinner features special presentations and photo opportunities with the honorees, major donors and elected officials. You can make this reception a huge success by contributing at the $25,000 level (Gold Patron) or above.
3. Become a Table Sponsor
By sponsoring table(s) at the banquet, you will ensure the continued success of the Museum while enjoying an elegant evening of dinner, entertainment and celebration with many other fellow Museum patrons! Please consider table sponsorship(s) at the $2,500 level (Bronze Patron) or above.
4. Purchase a Dinner Seat

6. Join the 888 CAM Circle
As the number suggests, the 888 CAM Circle will include no more than 888 members who will each donate a minimum of $888 in support of the Museum’s expansion project. Your membership to the 888 CAM Circle will aid in CAM’s growth while securing your legacy with this important cultural institution.
7. Donate Silent Auction Items
A donation from your company, store, and/or restaurant to the event’s Silent Auction will help support CAM while serving as a great advertisement for your business! Personal donations are also welcomed and sincerely appreciated.
8. Volunteer at the Banquet
