VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

Volunteer Docents are now needed.

Accession Artifacts
Sort, photograph and catalog artifacts into CAM database.

Event Coordination
Assist in the coordination of various CAM events and fundraising activities.

Community Outreach
Greet and interact with the public from our information table held at various community events.
Training will be provided

Fundraising/Ticket Seller
Sell and distribute tickets for Museum’s fundraising events.

Gallery and Exhibit Docents
Provide guided tours of Museum exhibitions to the visiting public.
Training will be provided

Gallery-sitters
Ensure the safety of the exhibits by preventing any direct tampering of the artifacts from the visiting public.

Photo Collection
Sort and catalog photo images into CAM database.

Newsletter
Write/contribute articles to our quarterly newsletter.

Newsletter Mailing
Assist staff with quarterly newsletter mailing.

Transcribers
Transcribe oral history interviews from video and tape cassettes.

Translators
Provide English, Chinese and/or Spanish translation of CAM materials.

Workshops
Assist staff in conducting our popular arts and crafts workshops.
Training will be provided
